We’ve published several major how-to guides on project management over the past three months. We want to keep you in the loop, so we’ve decided to post about it here on our blog!

Our PMP friend Olga made a few super cool how-to guides on project management. These articles are super helpful if you want to:
- become a successful PM
- learn how to deal with a scope creep
- know all the steps involved in project management.
Olga is an experienced project and product manager, so she knows what she’s doing. ;)

This guide is all about the ins and outs of project management. You will learn about what it takes to be a successful project manager, which skills you must have and whether or not a project manager’s role is for you at all. Moreover, you can also use this guide as a reference tool.

It’s sunny spring outside, fellows! At least, here in Northern Hemisphere. :) Here in Casual, just like in nature, spring is the time of visual transformations.

We’d like to make your experience with Casual even more pleasurable than ever before. From now on, the ones with modern displays can see all the icons more clearly. Retina users, that’s an update that you’ve been waiting for!
What’s more, the most popular feature from Casual Labs Smart arrows now available for all users. Smart arrows mean that the links adjust relatively to the task’s placement on the canvas.

Another feature that we’ve added is task icons. Now you can see right away, which task has files or comments included. Just note, for now, this feature applies to the newly created tasks.

Also, as many of you requested, you can add 2 categories to a project.
Give it a shot!
Stay tuned for the new updates & have a shiny day!
After the successful launch of StartupToolkit, we decided to surprise you with another interesting feature — a collection of project plan templates.

Interactive project templates — it is a collection of experimental project plans. These project plans are the templates that you can add to your Casual account.
In StartupToolkit you will find templates on various topics that you can use as guidelines for your own projects. For now, the templates are experimental. However, among the vast variety of project plans you might find one that will be helpful particularly for you.
Have a look at the latest templates we’ve collected:
It’s an experimental format of templates though, which might have some technical issues. So, just beware of it and if something goes wrong, just drop us a line.
More to say, if you have an idea of how to improve this catalogue, let us know. We appreciate every feedback.
You’d like to make a template yourself? No probs. Contact us. We’ll give you all the details on making your own project plan template.
